LANGUAGE OF THE HORSE: INTRO TO HORSEMANSHIP

This 6-session course introduces participants to Equine Assisted Personal Development through basic horsemanship, guided work with a horse, and practical insight into relationships with family, friends, and school.
Activity focuses include
safety and positioning, introduction to body language, haltering, walking at a lead, basic ground maneuvers, grooming, and hoof care.

AT BAY:

"At Bay" is a nautical phrase used to describe a ship anchored in a bay, waiting to enter a port. Often, the hurts of life and disruptive lifestyle patterns can keep us in a "waiting area", preventing us from entering into healthier relationships and behaviors.
Each participant explores how relationships with horses can provide tools for healthy boundaries, self-awareness, and connection, instead of being held "at bay" from relational wholeness.
